bei 45x wird ein kleiner matter Fleck sichtbar - die Galaxie ist homogen hell mit diffusen Rändern - bei 72x hat die Ausdehnung leicht zugenommen und es zeigt sich eine leichte Helligkeitszunahme zur Mitte hin - im Süden flankieren 2 schwache Sterne die Galaxie, die in etwa den gleichen Abstand zur Galaxie haben wie der helle Stern im Norden - bei 160x wird eine leichte OW-Elongation sichtbar - bei 206x wirkt das Zentrum nun deutlich heller und fast stellar - die Galaxie ist insgesamt gesehen gut sichtbar mit diffusen Rändern

die Dusty Hand Galaxy wird bei 45x als matter leicht elongierter Fleck erkennbar - bei 72x wirkt sie unregelmäßig - im SO sind zwei Sterne zu erkennen - indirekt ist eine Helligkeitszunahme zum Zentrum hin festzustellen und die NW-Kante wirkt definierter - bei 160x scheint es, dass der kleine kompakte Kern ein wenig nach Westen verschoben ist - der NW-Teil läuft spitz aus, während der SO breiter wirkt und diffus ausläuft - Elongation 3:1

bei 45x hat ich den Eindruck, die Galaxie quetscht sich regelrecht zwischen die zwei Sterne südöstlich und westlich - ein zarter, aber trotzdem heller Nebelschimmer - die großflächige Ellipse ragt nordwestlich über den westlichen Stern hinaus - bei 144x phantastischer Anblick, NGC 2403 wirkt leicht strukturiert, der Nordwesten sieht ein wenig abgerissen aus - am südlichen und südöstlichen Rand sind noch zwei schwache Feldsterne erkennbar

fünf Sterne bilden einen Obelisken, am untersten dieser Sterngruppe sitzt die Superthin, die bei 111x als Aufhellung sichtbar wird, sie ist im Grunde nur daran zu erkennen, dass nördlich über dem Stern ein leichter Schimmer liegt - die knapp östlich stehende sehr markante Sternansammlung Teutsch 1211+77 muss zwingend aus dem Gesichtsfeld genommen werden - bei 160x wird die Sichtbarkeit besser, aber eine Elongation ist nur in guten Momenten erkennbar, dann 3:1
