8" f/6, 80x + [OIII], Bortle 4, NELM 5m.9+, SQM-L 21.0
Conditions in the target region: SQM-L 20.8
Comparable with the observation in the 12.5 inch Dobsonian, just a bit fainter. At 37x with [OIII] filter the nebula was quite faint with averted vision.

MODERATE
12.5" f/4.5, 45x + [OIII], Bortle 4, NELM 5m.9+, SQM-L 21.0
Conditions in the target region: SQM-L 20.8
At 45x with [OIII] filter the nebula appeared as a curved brightening with some embedded stars. It is the brightest part of IC443 in the northeast. In the south there was a notch, so that the nebula looked like a fishhook. A magnification of 72x with [OIII] didn't showed more details. Without any filter the nebula was just a faint, structureless glow at 72x.
