The Hat of Zubenelgenubi (short: Zubs Hat). It is a conspicuous formation of six stars of 7th to 9th magnitude in the shape of a cap or hat directly north of alpha Lib. Being located only 1° north of the ecliptic, a passage of the Moon in the period of just one hour can result in a readily observable multiple star occultation. During the passages of planets the cap gives an excellent orientation to follow the daily motion of the planets in the telescope.
